Message from the Athletic Director
Welcome to School Year 2024-2025!
Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,
As the Athletic Director, it is my pleasure to welcome you to another exciting year of sports and activities at our middle school. Our athletic programs are designed to foster teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong love for sports. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where every student-athlete can thrive both on and off the field.
This year promises to be filled with new challenges, opportunities, and memorable moments. We encourage all students to participate in our various sports teams and activities, and we look forward to celebrating your achievements throughout the year.
As we embark on this new school year, we have high expectations for our student-athletes. Participation in sports requires dedication in the classroom, hard work during practice, and a commitment to excellence with your teamates both on and off the field. We are confident that our students will rise to the occasion, demonstrating sportsmanship, resilience, and a strong work ethic. Together, we will strive to achieve greatness and make this year our best one yet!
Good luck Riders!

DIAA Student Physical Information:
Student Athletes must have a current physical on file to try-out/participate in sports. Physicals can be found on the link provided on the website or can be picked up over the summer in the Postlethwait Middle School office. Over the summer you can come get a physical form from the main office. The student must be cleared to participate by a physician, the DIAA physical must be filled out in its entirety, and the physical needs to be within 12 months of the signature. Parents and athletes need to read and review the Postlethwait Code of Conduct. The code of conduct must be signed and returned to coaches for each sport played.
Please make sure that your child has completed a physical exam (dated after April 1, 2024) on the DIAA form (<-- Click here) and has signed the athletic code (<-- Click here).
